Database Administrators (#41330237)

SmartWorks of Edison, NJ* has opening at various project sites throughout the US: Design and modify computer databases per specifications. Periodically monitor and test databases for optimal performance. Conduct performance tuning and load balancing. Create back-up and disaster recovery plan for databases. Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard computer databases. Write and code logical and physical database descriptions. Specify users and user access levels for each segment of database. Approve, schedule, plan, and supervise the installation new databases.

*Work is at unanticipated project sites throughout the US, with infrequent relocations. No other travel is involved.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information System or related and 5 years of progressively related Data Engineer experience including at least 2 years with Tableau, SQL, C#, Python, Cl/CD, GIT, Jenkins. As equivalent, employer will accept a related Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information System or related and at least 2 years of related Data Engineer experience with Tableau, SQL, C#, Python, Cl/CD, GIT, Jenkins.
